I was bored yesterday, so I decided to take a trip over to a local dealer and see if they had anything interesting. They did.

Is it wrong that I laughed when I saw a Ferrari plate on a Lambo?

Not was wrong as me laughing at the Maserati plate on the McLaren SLR.

Not at all, though the potential for jokes would have been even higher if it were a Ferrari for sale at a Lamborghini dealer.

Is that at Boch's? Can you just go there and walk around?

It's here . I do believe they are affiliated with Boch's. Yes, its like a little museum, there were a couple other people just wandering around and taking pictures. The sales people are friendly and seem to understand the appeal.

I've always wanted to go to the nearby Ferrari/ Maserati dealership but I was always afraid they'd kick me out if I came to just look at the cars. Last time I stopped by there some years ago it was closed but there was a 512 BB in the window!

I have a hard time imagining they would ever kick anyone out; unless of course you were causing a disturbance or damaging the cars. For all they know you are a potential customer. It wouldn't worth the risk of losing your business.

That's true... They also have a little Ferrari shop in it with T-shirts & the like so maybe I'll go up there one day and stare at the cars for a while and then buy a hat or something.

Ok cool, I know where that is. I thought about stopping in a few times but I wasn't sure if they were cool with that

Yea it is worth it. I would suggest stopping by on a nice day though, they usually have a lot more cars out.

Not a bad plan. I was originally going to swing by the Motortrend show in Providence yesterday, but it didn't sound like they had anything all that interesting. This was free and they had some cars I will probably never see again.

Seriously. They had an F40 with 200 miles on it as well, it wasn't out on the floor right now though. Last time I was there, they had this.

They're usually pretty nice. I've stopped by to look at cars before and they're always nice, and they like talking with people who are passionate about cars. Last time I went to my local one the guy told me he had something in the service department I would like and took me downstairs where they had 2 F40s and an F50

Wow. The best thing our Ferrari dealer has is a 458 Spider.

I used to go when I was 19-20 and they were very nice. The truth is that exotic dealerships are generally not very busy so the folks working there can be bored and willing to talk.

I honestly think the back is one of the most flattering angles for the SLR

Yea they have a pretty unbelievable collection. As far as the 458 spyder goes, I am usually not a fan of convertibles, but that does look excellent.

I swear if I had the money I would save that F40 from such a sad existence.

Agreed. At least they can be seen here though, as opposed to being kept out of sight in some wealthy individual's climate controlled garage.

I would be one of those guys that puts 50k+ miles on a rare exotic.

Neat cars, regarding the 599 SA Aperta, here is an interesting look into the obscure world of limited production Ferrari spotting. How many did they make?
